I guess no threat except to boats, but Hurricane Jova is an incredible hurricane.

Just saw it on the feeds. Went from depression to pretty perfect cat 5 in 2 days. Just found that impressive, especially as I can appreciate its power without having to feel bad for it wiping some poor town off the face of the earth.

Thats symmetry you so rarely see in the Atlantic or even EPAC. Spectacular hurricane.

Pacific is massive, not a lot of landmass between USA and Japan to hit, water temps are much cooler than Atlantic.
