We had an English mastiff, best dog ever but like previously said they do not live long and have a lot of health issues. We took extremely good care of our dog and she still ended up dying prematurely due to lymphoma.

I forgot about ole steaks dog. I don't even hate the name roux, but between it, Boudreaux and Gumbo they're just so damn common that I don't know what to think about them.

I have 2 mastiff pit mixes- right at a year old - female is about 70 lbs of pure muscle. Looks like your girl. I named her Stella. You can borrow it - has a NOLA nod, if you will --Streetcar Named Desire. You can call her and do a Brando impersonation at the same time...
