I had a few done in my early 20s that I wouldn't have got if I could go back. On the bright side, they can all be hidden by a t shirt. Most people don't even know I have them.

Growing up by a military base, I do remember when it was considered VERY trashy to have a tattoo, unless it was of military/honor/service related. Back then it was only bikers and military - mostly Navy.
It all started when guys started wearing ear-rings. First the left ear for figs, then the right ear for non-figs, next thing you know you have dudes walking around with two ear-rings. WTF !!!
Then came the tattoos. Have to be different somehow right? I'm surprised the bikers haven't started a "BTM" movement to try to counteract all the wannabees from trying to be as trashy as them. "BTM" = Biker's Tattoos Matter.

My arms are covered black and Gray gustavo dore style work.

Albuquerque is terrible. I swear, the tattoo cost per capita has to be near $250/year. It's rare to see a female here that isn't inked.
