Well I just moved here and I’m definately not a Democrat. I moved here to get away from the corruption and daily violence in BR…While the cost of living/housing is indeed higher, I don’t have to walk around town like a Penguin packing heat and a backup like I did in BR…Compared to BR, Nashville/Brentwood/Franklin are like living with Mr. Rogers…Clean…no visible violence…people talk to you out of kindness…it’s really a weird feeling not to try and figure out what a MF got on his mind, when he says hello…Culture Shock!

Not if the GOP does their job and kicks the Bush, McCain establishment wing to the curb and transforms itself into more of a Trump like America first populism party and dominated the working class vote and turn the Hispanic vote the other way
It already started in Texas in 2020 and in the Cali recall the Dems gained college educated white votes but lost working class whites and hispanic votes from last gov election

There are some nice places within an hour of the city. Texas hill country is very nice.
Not sure how many times you’ve been to Austin. Are you familiar with the hill country?
