If it works, then why do people who are "fully vaccinated" care that people are choosing not to get it? If you're vaccinated then you don't have to fear the unvaccinated right?

A few months ago, Fauci and the CDC said that the vaccine doesn't stop transmission, doesn't prevent infection, it only minimizes symptoms, NOW you can not wear a mask if vaccinated? But I thought vaccinated sheep can still transmit? Fauci said a few weeks ago masks may be permanent right? Then he said "seasonal"?

Literally none of this makes any sense. frick the vaccine, frick the mask, make me bitches.

Wait, you're trying to make sense of the CDC/Biden Administration's messaging?

Good luck

Because it’s not really about whether or not the vaccine works. It’s about compliance and conditioning.

Notice the downvotes far exceed the actual rebuttals?

Think about how much they are incentivizing people to get this vaccine, and now think about why.

Nothing but a political stunt. Lots of pockets getting lined over this stupid shot.

I’ve been vaccinated. I’m good. I would like to go to a football game with my unvaccinated kids. Some other folks are immune compromised due to cancer treatments, etc. and still want to live life.

Let's not forget that the companies who made the vaccine are protected from being held liable for adverse effects.

Oh and it's stil not FDA approved.

Oh and the virus is a joke. The numbers are sketchy. The science is questionable.

Wouldn't all getting vaccinated potentially reduce risk of mutation

Additionally wouldn't maybe make covid go away in sense of us not getting vaccinated every 6 months?

Because people not vaccinated will keep the virus circulating and it will mutate. Its possible one of the mutations will be able to bypass the vaccine antibodies and then we are back to square one.

What's the covid mortality rate for kids again? Yeah.

So I have to put an untested, unapproved, experimental drug in my body so others can live life? frick right off with that.

I’m not anti vaccine and really didn’t care about the mask other than I didn’t like the government forcing it on me (didn’t try to rationalize that it didn’t work or makes you sick or any of that mess).

That said I don’t get it either about the crowd that’s vaccinated. We are quickly approaching the point where if you aren’t vaccinated it’s by choice. So why do the people who are protected by the vaccine care if unvaccinated people are giving it to one another?

I read rationales on the CDC tweet people were giving saying what about the kids (the virus poses no threat to them), immunocompromised people (well then they can wear a mask), and that by having an unvaccinated population the virus could morph within them and turn into a strain resistant to the vaccine.

I think mostly though they are clinging onto this love of fear and don’t want to let go. They don’t ever want to return to normal, so no use trying to rationalize it.

There are two public policy issue both revolve around "herd immunity:

1. There are people who can not take the vaccine for several reasons. They are also very likely to be in the groups that have the most likely chance of serious complications or death with COVID. They only get a significant level of protection when herd immunity is reached. This is a significant part of the reason children are routinely vaccinated for diseases that have been for most practical purposes eradicated in the US.

2. When herd immunity has been reached the chances of a more transmissible or more deadly mutation are significantly reduced.

Are you brainwashed or retarded? The vaccine is effective. At the the virus was “just the flu” now the vaccine is a “stupid shot”. I swear some of y’all view Trump as LSU and Biden as Saban. If you don’t want to take the vaccine, that’s fine, but don’t act like this is a crazy moneygrab.
