So I come to the place with the most knowledge in the universe... the mighty ot...

Thanks...

But what if they have a website that won't let you do either?

Where is the phone book and 411? We used to have a real woman come on the phone and talk to you and give you a phone number... The Good Old Days...

They probably have half a dozen social links. Use those.

My man, what is your issue? Their contact page has their mailing address, phone number, FOUR email addresses, and links to their Facebook and Twitter.

It doesn't matter. That means there is nobody there to read or respond to either.

You can always look at where the owner of the website is registered, and send correspondence to the custodian, who may get it to your intended target.

But nobody reads shite.

So which one do I use... I want to write a letter.. United States Postal Service... with stamp mind you...

Is that how they do it today? Or is that a thing of the past?

I have worked with Panola Before.. Good People. Last time a phone call and simple email did the trick to get the job done.

Etiquette I guess.

If the OP would, please Sir, graciously recognize the poster from Mandeville: Net, Mr. WWII Collector, Sir

Mr. WWII Collector: the poster is recognized, Net has the floor

…thank you for yielding, Sir. Good morning.

I trust everyone is doing well this morning, Sir, gentlemen.

As we all sit in hopeful anticipation this morning for the arrival and celebration of Front Day, 2023 in less than 48 hours, I understand how busy this time of year can be with, most importantly, procuring hot chocolate. And because for a certain Cosmo and TulaneLSU, who this year will be extremely busy scrambling to collaborate the long overdue TulaneLSU “Top Ten Public Restrooms for Discreet Handy’s/BJ’s of Uptown NOLA”, I will be brief.

Mr. WWII Collector, previous gentleman member posters ITT, the honorable Chicken, Fred, the 99 distinguished TD members currently online……Kafka,

In light of your age, wisdom, experience, and apprehensive nature, with specific regard for technology, its convenience, efficiency, and widespread accessibility, Mr. WWII Collector, I hereby move to rescind the nomination for telegram by the previous gentleman, have his statement stricken from the minutes, and proceed with haste in nominating the most appropriate method in question with which to communicate for Mr. WWII Collector, Morse Code.

I thank you for your recognition, Sir, and yield the balance of my time

Friend,

I can think of no examples where an email is preferable to a written letter. When you can act in the physical, rather than the digital, world you take substance and turn it into an act of love. Can you imagine a world where you received Christmas cards as an email? The thought alone is distressing.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

When we moved to Florida a few years back, my wife was interviewing for jobs at 3 local hospitals

What was the main source of communication with them you ask? Text message. fricking text message.. I remember cover letters and formal things for jobs of her caliber.

Now, fricking text message.
