WWLTV has a facebook live going from the scene... I image they're about a mile or so from the fire and are getting good video of flames


hate to say it but something like that never seems to end well for the driver... do hope he got out but expecting the worst for him

Cant remember years, but the basin was 70mph for a while. Of course, deaths tripled (or even more, I forget exact data) so then the speed was dropped back to 60 cars, 55 trucks.

That's me in the car just behind the 18 wheeler in the OP's pic. You could feel the heat from where I was.

After about 30 minutes, they sent us down I-310 the opposite way to the 3127 split to U-turn.

For those that believe, say a prayer for the dead, and for the other driver severely burned.
