Hyundai Mobis has developed a game-changing e-Corner System technology, making parallel parking a breeze with crab walking, where all four wheels turn 90 degrees for smooth sideways movement! The innovative system also brings us one step closer to effortless autonomous driving.

Adds an additional $15,000 to a car’s price tag because people are too dumb to parallel park.

More added expense for functionality that competent Americans don’t need

This isn't about parallel parking per se, since the Lexus LS460 in ~2006 there have been plenty of cars with self-parking options this is about being able to park in spaces even instructors for the Top Gun parallel parking university couldn't safely park in. Somewhat useless in most low-density cities but high-density cities like some in Asia, Europe, and the North East it could be very useful even for a veteran of city parking. It is a natural evolution, if rather complex, of city cars which are small not primarily due to economics but because they fit so many places even a modern compact car does not.

Cool. Maybe for their next trick they can learn to put a bid package together.

Would be a great thing to have in NYC. I’m fine with parallel parking, but in Manhattan, you pull up beyond the spot you want to pull back in to, and some a-hole is on your rear bumper, not letting you back into the spot. Granted, for that amount of money, you would just pay for a spot in a garage.
