Hwy 90 is closed both directions around Franklin

Not sure about eastbound but I think it's closed for them too because there's a lot of traffic going the opposite way along the detour. Anyone know what's going on? I saw a bunch of fire trucks and police cars along the beginning of the detour. Seems serious

ETA: it's closed both ways

Somebody ran into a chemical pipeline and busted it causing the chemical to start spraying out.

Just had a conference call about this. We're probably going to have to shut in some producers in the gulf.

It was probably buried and marked by signs. I was told it was a natural gas pipeline.

Yes it is. Finally got through it and saw that eastbound traffic was being redirected

Looking at Google maps, it appears to closed in both directions. Traffic is being diverted through Baldwin.
