They won't ever get a dime from these people, I'm surprised an attorney took it. He must be a friend doing it knowing he won't get a dime, or to do the right thing.
I’m surprised too. Plus I know the attorney and he’s a big time liberal.

Waste of time and money to secure a judgment that will be fruitless. Only person who wins in this type of scenario is the attorneys

Is “FOX 8 Legal Analyst Joe Raspanti” always so harsh about seeking civil monetary damages?
I doubt the husband will get anything, but it seems like sometimes going after the parents is cheered and other times it’s not.

Honore stuck out amongst his co-defendants — three teenaged females — with numerous charges dating back to his first arrest for criminal damage to a property at age 12. Honore's prior charges include armed robbery, possession of a firearm, auto theft, flight from an officer, and 18 counts of vehicle burglary in one case alone, WWL-TV reports. The juvenile was also charged with aggravated burglary after the violent home invasion of a relative in May 2020
And yet this rabid fuggin jackal was out on the streets robbing, carjacking and killing an innocent grandmother.
He needs to be set on fire and put out with an ice pick.

Maybe the plaintiff attorney is looking for publicity, but he is certainly not going to collect any money on this case. He will spend money he will never see again. I wish him luck though.

Jason Williams and the city should be sued into oblivion as well.

the worst part is that he wrote in a letter to her family that the day he killed her he made “the biggest mistake” of his life…
as though the other two dozen crimes he committed before then were just warm up mistakes

This is why they have no personal accountability because they don't have anything to lose. I doubt these 4 families have $50k in total assets to get out of this.
This lawsuit is nothing more than merit based but I like the idea of making their lives hell

I like this.
Make them accountable for being shite parents. Even if you get $20. Break their arse.

Unfortunately all he will accomplish is to enrich his attorney and lose his own life savings.

I understand being pissed but this seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
And that's partly why so much of this goes on in society. People need to be held accountable for unacceptable shite. It helps when decent, ordinary people refuse to allow the can to be kicked down the road.

In a civil case what happens if the defendants can’t afford representation?
