It's already September and we haven't gotten anything this year. I think we're in the clear.

That's that bitch that made us live without power & internet for a few days for the first time with a small child...didn't realize it made its way up to a Cat 3

October 25, 2020: Zeta formed in the western Caribbean.
October 26, 2020: Zeta strengthened into a hurricane and made landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula.
October 28, 2020: Zeta rapidly intensified and made landfall near Cocodrie, Louisiana.
October 29, 2020: Zeta weakened to a tropical storm over Alabama and was later declared post-tropical.

2020 season was brutal. Felt like Louisiana had a hurricane warning every week from August to late October.

I took a direct hit for that one.

All I remember was the nice cool weather it brought. And the fact that the storm was moving so fast the surge only did minimal impacts to the Bayou area. Also, it was half a storm as the back side was all dry air. We also had the prettiest sunset for that storm as it was bright or orange or a nice pinkish hue as the center passed over SELA at sunset.

It felt nice for a few days after the storm even without power.

Boy must be a rookie.

Officiating football in Tampa Bay this time of year is fun.

1 will there be a game?

2. Good news…drug sellers don’t like rain. No gun battles

3. Bad news, did you remember your towels for the ride home?

4. Is this concession equipped with an outside hose, so you can wash your back? All the mud goes up your back…..front clean. You run in 2 inches of water. New rule covering drowning.

I underestimated this one with a two year old at home. Only time in my life I’ve been in the eye and got both eye walls in Metairie.

Feels like hurricanes have forgotten about us this year.

Much to the chagrin of climate alarmists.

From Tropical Tidbits GFS, on the 14th thru 20th indicates a potential Cat 1/Cat 2 slicing through Florida and up the East Coast.
