I will say this has been the longest thread I have ever read every page. I am thankful for the info in here and have learned a lot. I am still less confident than others until I see the movement- but as a guy with a masters in predictive analytics- I do love the models. This makes me wonder how they could be even better.

I know by doing that it will never be wrong.

So you don't see that the modes went from it hitting the Carolinas to now hitting the panhandle? That's a HUGE difference.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if it does what Katrina did. Models thought that was going to go into the Atlantic too.

LOL at folks thinking it's going to keep going to the west towards Mobile et al. Models have been basically spot on since early this week, and now the confidence in the models should be at an all time high due to the timeframe left

I also know my 3 year old could draw a cone from NC to Pensacola and be just as useful as these cones
The ravenous responses and arse clinching are from the true "wish-casters" that don't want this thing to come their way.

If you don't see the chance that it could drive another 300 miles west before heading north after its already moved 150 miles past where they thought it would turn north... then I don't know what to tell you.
52 ensemble members of the greatest global model in the world say otherwise:
