Yikes. All the tracks were south Texas and Florida this morning. Coming together to split the gap now and LA is in the middle

Florence is putting up one last gasp here at the coast. We haven't seen purple cloud tops in a few days...

I’ve lived through Charley (did my part to create my oldest son the afternoon of) and the other 3 hurricanes which made a big X over Orlando. So I have zero issue enjoying my safety away from the coasts while watching DirecTV’s local channel coverage (learning these ABC11 people are dull AF) even after being disappointed when the surge is worse than the high winds.

Buoy 41064 is getting in the eye...winds starting to die down and pressure very low at 960 mb

That's the Canadian model. They're not very reliable for tropical systems.

Most recent GFS ensembles were far less bullish on Isaac than the Euro was...
