There’s always one model that takes a storm straight up the Mississippi River. It’s like an inside joke that they make one always do that.

So if I am supposed to head to Orange Beach from Baton Rouge... when would should I expect to be able to make that trip? Not sure I want to leave BR until the storm passes but I have to make my way east and I don’t want to go before the storm bc It seems like it could hit the GS/ Orange beach area as well.

That’s because when it was only 30mph is weather geeks were aware of how overly warm the gulf was and knew it would strengthen over that :)
