Looking more likely OTS.

Nothingburger season still intact, can’t blame me on a jinx yet

Only a few more weeks to go. I’d love a season with 0 hurricanes making US landfall

Yeah, this is a bad storm for the towns on the Western coast of Alaska. It'll be one of those storms talked about and compared to others.

We need about two more years just like this and maybe we can get some home owners insurance back.

Bad timing for southern PR. Fiona is getting organized.

Meanwhile, in terrestrial weather, we have our first decent severe setup in quite a while. Enhanched with 10% hatched for tornadoes. We don't see too many of those this time of year. The good news is that it is well away from most OT interests.

Last night saw some decent hail and at least one tornado warning West of today's setup.

There's a ship in Fiona's eyewall for some reason. It has been recording and transmitting data.

Looks like a ship found itself in #Fiona's eyewall... hopefully it's able to deal with that. Getting some nice observations from it too as it seemingly enters the eye

That storm up in Alaska has been a motherfricker. Nome recorded its highest ocean level since the 1974 storm.
