If the storm keeps intensifying it's likely going to support the s. florida solutions like the Euro. big question will be the ridge influence past that. euro shows a weakness then slow steering past that to cause some potentially big flooding.

Maybe....i am hoping for a more Northern Florida landfall with a track into Georgia....we will know much better by this weekend.

So GFS model is dependent on the ridge in the Atlantic being weaker and further north.

Euro is dependent on that ridge being stronger and further south.

Which one is more likely?

GFS could obviously beat the Euro but the Euro is definitely more consistent. There is times GFS beats the Euro but more often than not Euro wins on the ridges.

My friend who lives in St John just texted. They made it - said it was a good one but nothing compared to Maria.

TWC said it’s now a deadly storm because some baw fell off a roof. These guys are ridiculous. I’m sure they love it. Poor guy.

they'll call it a deadly storm if someone dies in a car wreck on the way to the grocery to get bread as a storm approaches
