I can understand bird hunting accidents.

Really? Because I can't. There are certain "rules" you play by in a bird hunt to keep people from getting shot. Shoot only within a certain area, don't point a gun at another person, wear orange, etc.

No excuses for one hunter to shoot another...EVER.

Yes, but when you’re on public land not everyone follow or knows the rules and etiquettes. People get peppered all the time duck hunting public land and pheasant hunting. I’m not excusing it at all, it’s completely irresponsible and they should lose their hunting privileges, but you have to shoot quickly, so I can understand how those accidents happen.

Not saying its OK, there princess. Just saying that people get in bad positions, quail fly like assholes and things happen quick.

Who yanked your chain?

Still not an excuse. You shoot in your lanes, nobody gets hurt. No different than identifying your target before you shoot.

Sorry you frickers don't know how to bird hunt safely.

People shooting trucks, women walking dogs, and hunting partners because "things happen fast" will be the death of hunting. You're holding a frickin gun for christ's sake. Use it responsibly.

I almost got peppered by a couple of squirrel hunters while bow hunting public land years ago. Two teenagers, one with a 410 and the other one with 12 gauge started blasting away at a puny gray squirrel that decided to make a quick getaway in my direction. I was about 20 feet up in a pine tree on my climbing stand when pellets hit the tree in front of me which was about 10 feet away. I had to yell out at those two to stop shooting. Good thing, they never saw me. That was the last time I hunted public land.
