maybe the students were adult enough to realize how that one's girl's actions wasted a ton of class time?
maybe they are tired of having school ruined for everyone by one person?

I hope that bitch gets her arse beat the rest of her days in school.

Well done by the students and well handled by the admins. This is what protests are supposed to look like. Let your voice be heard, make your point, and GET BACK TO WORK!

This school wouldn't be known and this little brat wouldn't have a check waiting for her if the adminstration handled it like adults and the juiced up cop didn't get his ego hurt
The only "one person" who ruined anything was the cop

NO ONE is defending the disrespectful little girl,
Everyone can say they are not defending the girl, but they are. A defense does not mean you have to be 100% on her side. I saw a number of posts saying "she was rude but should not have been forcibly removed," and that is a defense. The posters were trying to mitigate any culpability that she had.

You think a girl browsing on her phone in her desk is more distracting to a leaning environment than hundreds of students laughing and making noise in the hallway? Please tell me you do so I can laugh at you
Did I say anything about kids causing a distraction?
Read more and post less.

Plus she's going to be "defended" either out of court or by a judge via a multi-million dollar settlement.

Quit acting like these kids are social activists for a wrongful fire.
I'm pretty sure their actions make them social activists, even if you have your panties in a bundle because they were giggling on video. What's wrong? They didn't tear up enough shite to satify the standard for the "protestor" label these days?

you guys still can't help yourself and claim that this is an either-or situation
You mean like yourself throwing out "bootlickers" and throwing out the race card because people think for as excessive as the cop was that maybe there was a reason for that reaction. And one we should be addressing instead of throwing out the race and OMG BAD COP card everytime something like this happens?

Put in simpler, and straight-to-the-point terms, I'm not afraid to be on the opposite of white people's side like many of you are
Never. fricking. Fails.
Get the frick out of here with that self-righteous bullshite.

I seriously doubt she will receive a multi-million dollar settlement. SC is not California.

I want to jerk you from your desk for being so lame right now. SJW.

They will also be the first ones bitching because the kids going to that school don't receive a solid education.

It's funny how things work themselves out that way. This probably would've had a similar ending. But now, this girl is getting a fat paycheck and this whole story just added fuel to an annoying pissant SJW fire

The SROs(School resource officers) here in Rapides Parish are much beloved, by students and parents. You would see similar support at ASH and Menard. They work long hours, from early morning to late night ballgames, always maintaining a presence on campus. It has been a great program initiated by Sheriff Hilton.
Looks like the officer in the video got a little frustrated with a really shitty kid. Needs to work on redirection, or some less physical way of handling the refusal to hand over a celly.

Any sign of progress is good for me in these strange times.

You said they didn't deserve to be bodyslammed because they weren't "acting like thugs". One thinking rationally would believe you think the girl was deserving of her bodyslam because she was "acting like a thug".
The cop was called in because she was a "distraction"' to her class. The girl was on her phone and wouldn't put it away. You have students from the same classroom saying they weren't even aware of what she was doing. Some huge distraction right? Now you have hundreds of kids laughing and cutting up in the hallways. That seems like a slightly larger distraction

No, but she will get something. A state representative/ambulance chasing lawyer/race-baiter took her case.

Sure they can. Only an idiot sees everything in black and white. You can believe the girl was wrong and also believe the resource officer was wrong.
Sometimes the situation just has a shitty ending with no good guy and more than one bad guy.
