An excuse to cut class?
Watching the vid of this walk out and seeing some students laughing and cutting up leads me to believe that this is exactly what it is for a lot of them
This cop the same student body claimed was intimidating, too aggressive, and what they called "steroid cop" is now someone who's deserving of a walk out

What did she do that was thuggish, oh that's right she cause a distraction in class that was far less of a distraction that these HUNDREDS of students caused. So if the majority does it its ok. I get it now.

You think a girl browsing on her phone in her desk is more distracting to a leaning environment than hundreds of students laughing and making noise in the hallway? Please tell me you do so I can laugh at you

You mean like protestors blocking freeways in a major city but an individual citizen would get arrested for doing so?
Pot meets kettle there guy.

But all these dumbasses are giving each other e high fives and chest bumps. I deal with kids their age ever other weekday they are more manipulative than most adults.

I mean I have already come to that conclusion so why do you feel a need to give me another example?

Surely you see the irony of all you Fields defenders supporting this large scale walk out while condemning this girl for being on her phone, right?
I mean, the go-to lines have been -
"She was causing a huge disruption!"
"Why should the other students suffer???!"

She refused to listen to her teacher, she refused to listen and obey her principal, and lastly refused to listen and obey the SRO. All of these people are in positions of authority and she should have complied with their requests. All they asked her to do was to put her phone away. It's not like they asked her to do something that could be considered immoral, or dangerous.

They're clearly doing it wrong. Should've trashed the lobby and put the Principal in a chokehold
That's what would have happened if the cop got to keep his job.

I believe firing the officer was correct but man, you're really off on some emotional tangent here and way off base.

I see the irony in you supporting a girl who refused to comply with a teacher, then an administrator, then a police officer but you're bitching about kids peacefully protesting his firing (instead of tearing up their school in "protest"). Especially when they returned to class when asked, peacefully.
I'm not surprised you were one of the first ones either bitching about it either.

The irony
Get the frick back to class, you little bastards. Obey.
Posted on 10/30/15 at 12:18 pm to GetCocky11
Not much of a walk out if you just go right back to class.
Posted on 10/30/15 at 12:18 pm to GetCocky11
I wonder what percentage of the student body did this. I'm hoping it was most, if not all but 1.

"We've heard your voices, okay," the administrator said. "We appreciate you taking time to do this, but again, as you know, we always focus on teaching and learning, so let's head on back to class."
About as hypocritical as it gets there. So focused on teaching and learning that a man was fired for removing a distraction to that teaching and learning.

Only the racist ones walked out.......yes I'm being sarcastic but plenty of others will think they're racist.

She refused to listen to the teacher or the principal and leave the room. She then refused to listen to the LEO's request and she even ignored his commands. The entitled bitch wanted to be tough so she was treated tough.

Oh please. I just watched a vid of this "walk out". There were tons of kids laughing and cutting up and talking with friends. It's the Friday before Halloween. Quit acting like these kids are social activists for a wrongful fire. It's the Friday before Halloween. I was a high school student only 5 years ago, I know how they think. I probably would've used it as an excuse to get out of class, too

Was this supposed to hurt my feelings? Sorry you're bootlicking tendacies are upset because I'm not outraged a bodybuilding cop kicked a 16 year old girl's arse for being a brat. It seems like you think I'm one of the ones who's always on the other side of the fence in these race/cop issues but that couldn't be further from the truth. I think the highway blockings which you brought up (which have nothing to do with this so lol at that even being mentioned) are bullshite. But unlinke most of you OTers, I look at each situation independently and form my opinions on what is known.
Put in simpler, and straight-to-the-point terms, I'm not afraid to be on the opposite of white people's side like many of you are
