No one is asking about details of yall relationship.

Do you talk to people and say "my significant other likes pumpkin bread" and if they say "oh. You significant other? Are you two married?" Are you going to be like "That's not your business! If I wanted you to know I would have referred to him as either my husband or fiance, but I think he looks hot with a goatee"?

Do you understand where I am going? Why would you want to hide that information if you have already mentioned that you are in a relationship?

*The pumpkin bread thing isn't referring to anything specific. Out of all things that could have come to mind, that was the first.
