While technically sting rays, those are actually harmless rays called cow nose rays and super common along beaches

I had some like that swim by me in Destin once. They were real close to the surface so when their fins came up they looked like shark fins coming out of the water. I about shite my pants.

One year a chick rubbed tanning oil on me instead of sunscreen and I got hammered and passed out in the sun for hours. I have scars from it.
