Electric car batteries have a longer life than the ones in iphones right? I mean, their battery life won't go down to 0 in about 18 months, will it?

I watched the live stream last night, and the battery factory they have is pretty amazing. It is still being built, but is operational now. Will generate all its own power through solar, wind and geothermal. Only Boeing will have a larger enclosed factory.

I do not buy into global warming and strongly believe that is some leftist crap of fake science, but I like what they are doing here with electric cars. Running on gasoline is just outdated and we should be advancing propulsion systems in everything we have.
