26 year veteran officer severely Injured yesterday in a freak accident at a back the blue golf tournament. He fell out of a golf cart and hit his head on the path. Emergency surgery.

Take it easy. He probably isn’t far off the mark. I have been to one or two of these out at Santa Maria and seen some behavior.

I will reserve judgment on whether or not alcohol was involved until the police do a proper investigation. What difference does it make now?

This thread was not made to give theories on what the officer could have done differently to not be in the situation. If a fat person has a heart attack in the hospital you should show sympathy not tell them its from the fried chicken.

Is alcohol illegal in Houston or something? Was he driving a vehicle or in the passenger seat?
