since he has a chive sticker... he has to be a big fat greasy late 20's to mid 30's white dude. Im just surprised he isnt driving a ragged out 89 model honda accord.
nah, he's late 20s and skinny. His "gf" is obsessed w/ the Chive too. She always pops up in the pics on the site.

The prices on clean, non-clapped out ones are rising daily.

It also makes the truck way more valuable on resell or trade

Because it costs more new I should hope it has some value on the backend. Costs you over $4k new, and that about the extra you'll get on the backend.

Not much of an argument for or against 4wd IMO. Unless you think that makes the truck more desirable. Which completely depends on the buyer.

Yeah it's hard to justify 30k on a toy

Agreed. It is an option, unlike say, appearance packages, that at least you'll recoup in trade.

I would say it is probably "worth" more than a diesel to most buyers.

You take that off and sell it whenever you get rid of your 4Runner.

So, there is absolutely no value to me to ever own a non 4x4 truck.

no value, just because you use 4wd occasionally?
