Everyone just falls for a story of an underdog coming back from the jaws of defeat, earning redemption, and our hearts.

She was placed in cuffs immediately after threat from the officer of arrest for attempted vehicle burglary. What the hell happened to that charge from there, I dont know.

Then she turned feral and pushed and pulled....interfering with an officer (or resisting arrest as it is in Louisiana). Then somehow winds up with a DUI as well.

It was a rough night.

Disingenuous. The cop is definitely an a-hole and both of them regret her smashed face.

Her legs sure did catch my eye from the outset. As far as the face is concerned, may have a few dings and dents. But probably nothing to get a huff about.

She was drunk and uncooperative others had identified her as attempting to break into the truck.

Officer kept telling her she wasn't under arrest merely detained. had she just waited around for her husband owner of the vehicle to show up they would have let her go.

And LCA is being a poopiehead...ignore his drivel

Interfering with an investigation, for starters. People called from complex, he had an obligation to investigate. She refused to provide her name and ID. They should have called EMT, that is the only thing you MIGHT ding them on.

There are plenty enough good looking and good personality women out there to not have to put up with her drunk arse self.

Watch the video again. In criminal law sequence of events is quite important in most instances. He cuffed her for attempted vehicle burglary. Which btw requires a showing of "intent to commit a crime therein". How far do you think he got with any evidence of that? So basically she was initially arrested for 1/2 Attempted Vehicle Burglary. Which is not a crime of course. Not to mention the cop had no clue at this point whether the girl may have had permission to get in her ex-husband's truck. So the cop really had zero proof that the crime was committed. I guess some assumptions could be made if the parties didnt know each other, no rational excuse there, but here we have ex-spouses together, sure, they got into an argument, but they had been there together with their child.

Being that drunk turned out to be a pretty bad ingredient for the night and it certainly exacerbated the situation,
but Id be a fool to believe any persom who'd try to claim that they wouldn't lose their shite (to some degree or another) if they were just arrested for a crime they know they didn't commit and further suddenly having to leave their child behind.

then she waits for the car owner /husband to show and shove in the cops face,, not try to take off

as far as the cop knew multiple people said she was attempting to break into a car

its not based on what he didnt know,, he acted based on what he did know ( there were MULTIPLE reports of attempted vehicle break-in)
