frick NOPD.
I was in NOLA with my family and it was one of the last times we knew my grandmother would be able to do that, so everyone was there from our fam.
At the time I was 13 or 14. They stopped me while I was walking my grandma down the street (she had horrible arthritis and bad knees/hips at that age). They detained me, put me in handcuffs in the back of a cop car, kept asking me for my ID which I was too young to even have at the time and accused me of robbing a bar an hour earlier because I matched the description.
I was a tall kid, but got damn I looked nowhere old enough to be doing shite like that and had my whole family with me.
It's the first and only time I've seen my mom and my aunt completely lose it.
Anyways, I said that to say it wouldn't surprise me if they were using illegal tactics to find the guns. Those frickers are dirty af.

Yes. It would locate the firearm and police on the route would roll up on them
