How to test drive a car with ZERO intentions of buying one?

I have a lease coming up in about four months and I want to start shopping early. I have my eye on a number of different vehicles but really don’t feel strongly about anything yet. Just want to check out a bunch and drive the ones that have potential. Dealerships and sales people are such a shitshow that I’m finding it hard to muster the motivation to get out there. Any tips or tricks to pacify these animals?
Oh and purchasing the lease is not an option unfortunately.

Just test drive the car and thank the salesman and leave.
No big deal.
No big deal.

What ?
Look online make sure they have the car or truck you want to test drive in stock. Go to the dealership to test drive it. Then say Im still looking

Which is it? Anyway, that's literally what test driving is for. Just tell them no when they ask you to come to their office after the test drive

If you’re this dumb you’re not walking away from a dealer without buying.
Go in and test drive what you want then say no. Ffs

Pretend you’re blind and say that your manservant is taking you for a test spin before you go drinking and fricking all night and then put those dress blues on one last time.

Just don’t lie because that would be wrong.

Why not?
Because it is a gas guzzling Nissan Frontier that was only leased for a job that has since ended. Looking for something a bit more fuel efficient. Don’t need a truck

Pretend you're interested in the car
Test drive the car
Say you aren't interested in the car
It's not that difficult

Ask your husband to go with you. A man won't have problems telling a salesman, "I'll get back with you."

Go sit in each one you are thinking about and evaluate the AC and position of all the stuff... If you like it, go rent one for the weekend... might not be loaded with the things you want but you will find out if you hate it.
