Y’all should sell St. George confederate car flags to get money

If yall made a line extending from the end of each line clockwise it’d be a real St. George flag

You sure you're from St. George?
Pekins Rowe I'll overlook. But misspelling Siegen? Must be a bot.

Sure. Good idea. Keep letting BR piss away your tax dollars. Sounds like someone doesn’t like the St George victory over the dragon. Awwwwwww
Statistics indicate SG will be well funded, and I have friends with businesses in BR that I frequent because they have earned my business. Why quit going to businesses in BR?
Just do what you have always done.

Every service of value is currently provided by the Parish. Honestly not sure what St. George plans on using the tax revenue for in the short term unless the parish starts cutting off services.

The Parish will continue to provide garbage and trash pivk up. That isn’t changing.

Shop inside St. George city limits as much as possible

This map is weird. Why are some squares cut out?

SG will: maintain city roads, streets and bridges
Take care of zoning
Building inspections and permitting
Have a token police dept., but intends to boost sheriff patrols
Maintain traffic signals, signs, etc on city streets.

So the sales tax rate in St. George will be 14%?

Ehh. The Baton Rouge government has been straight up looting these people for years, right out in the open. It's dirty as hell.
How would you like your tax dollars being taken and applied to services that you weren't eligible for? It's total BS. Downright theft.

Should be something with some German flare since most that area was originally settled by German families. Easiest to Google is the Kleinpeter name, (Sharp is also mentioned.) But, Siegen, Essen, Staring, Perkins, Highland (Deutsche Highlands and then became Dutch Highlands and the just Highland) street names all have German roots dating to the late 18th century.
Another interesting tid bit is that these original BR German families have no connection with the New Orleans and German Coast families.

Understood. Thanks for clarifying. Interesting that the parish can now pass the buck for roadwork in St. George now.
