For future reference, don't buy Nike.

Just FYI, if you return flawed shoes to Nike, they execute the kid who made them.

Go to Payless and buy a shite pair of shoes for him to wear. Tell him if he's not going to take care of the stuff you buy him then he doesn't deserve a nice pair. If he wants to have a new pair then make him pay for it. Next time he will know better than to mess around and get his shoe fricked up.

Go buy a new pair of the exact same shoe. Keep your receipt and box. Put the messed up pair in the new box. Bring the receipt and shoes back to the store and tell them they are defective and you want your money back.
That's like wrecking the truck to collect the insurance so you can pay the truck note

Also, if the store won't handle, I think Nike is pretty good about returns.

And I'm not letting him walk around with shoes with a hole in it since that would make the hole (which is about 3/4 of an inch long maybe even bigger) so I sent him to school barefoot.
...you sent your son to school barefoot? wtf?

Horrible shoes. My 8 year old daughter got a pair of those recently, and both tore across the top where the shoe flexes with every step. The fabric is cheap and flimsy. We ended up throwing them away after less than a month. It's a design flaw. Waste of $80, if you ask me.

Start searching Baltimore's Craig's List. You may even be able to buy just one shoe.

Buy him new shoes and make him work off some of it for not taking care of his shite - folding clothes, dishes, cutting grass, etc.
Yeah, and he can wear the fricked up shoes while he does all that stuff and reserve the new ones for when he's not bankrupting his pops with his irresponsible tennis shoe maintenance.
