Where can I take them to get rid of them in Ascension? My home’s previous owner left a bunch in my shed and I need to get rid of them since I don’t use propane. It’s a mix of bottles and tanks but mostly bottles.

Obviously I can’t just throw them away.

The nearest dump. They usually take gases and such. Call them first.

I’ll get you to weld them together for me first.

You take them to one of those propane swap out places. Just don’t swap them out.

Or give them to friends who do use propane so they can swap and get a full spare for like $17.

It won’t be a problem.

If you're in Louisiana, state law requires all natural-gas distributers to accept old tanks from the public, free of charge, no matter what condition they're in.

Someone will probably buy them, or just list them for free. Curb Alert on next door, Facebook Market, Craigslist.
