That's not even challenging to most people. When we arrived for two-a-days every player on the team had to, and did, beat that time. I took a jogging class for my PE credit when I transferred to LSU and all but the chubby chicks made it

I would be willing to bet that a 9 minute mile is about the average if not better than the majority on this board. And by the time they hit mile 2 they'd be dead.

The majority of individuals on this board are not serving in the United States Marine Corps and are not tasked with defending this country.

This isn't the frickin' Army. This is the Marines. They are supposed to be the best of the best.

How is it that despite the increase in fitness and nutritional knowledge, the physical requirements for the American military have actually decreased in the last several decades?

At the point when johnny come lately is pretending that the guidelines for signing up now are the same as they were after 9/11/01.

I don't understand what part of "entry standards" people aren't getting. It's the only time in their military career that it's that low. It's just to see if you are in the bare minimum shape to even begin training. And even later on, with the full regular test, anyone that thinks you're just going to cruise along forever on a bare minimum score doesn't know much about the military.

If you think you're making it out the other end doing the bare minimum then I would invite anyone to try. Plus as someone said earlier, this is the bare minimums for basic and to be a basically qualified Marine. Not Delta, not MARSOC, not BUDS but a basic training.

Can we look at the numbers? Of the men who really sacrificed and went to military institutions. Versus the grunts that had no place to go. They end up cops or grunts. I don't ball wash local cops any more than some kid that had no option but to join. Get real about this. If you signed up? Deal with it. No draft. You thought it was an easy way to pay for college? Deal with it.

It's not important. What's important is where you score at the end of training. If one recruit scores double what another recruit scores on day one but they both score the same at the end, why is it important? The purpose of the entry test is just to make sure you don't drop dead during training. The Marines have determined that those numbers are sufficient. Raising it would be arbitrary and another pointless road block for recruiters.

Slobs. And now we are talking about chicks? Let's be real. I like all the pics of Jew broads acting like soldiers. But I would kill any of them in seconds. I have old man strength. It makes for a great propaganda piece but lets get real. My arm strength is enough to dominate them.

It seems important, Private Pile.

Seems like a lot of wasted money.

Or a pointless position for a pointless position. Maybe we need less recruiters and less boots on the ground.

No, I wasn't aware that it was a logistics base. I spent a majority of my time on Lejeune, 29 Palms, and OKI when I wasn't deployed.

Semper Fi! Barstow's rifle range was less than a football field away from the rear training grounds of 29 Palms...good times were had there...

Make a thread about it and stop mucking this one up with your laughably transparent, inferiority complex and attention whoring.

I love how you brush off all points and resort to name calling. If you want to explain where I was wrong about recruiting processes in the 90's go ahead.

I brushed off your pointless comment because it has nothing to do with this thread just like most of your other "contributions". And I love how you insulted another poster right before you whined about me insulting you.
