How should I break in my kid's baseball glove?

He is 3, and there is no way he catch with this glove.

Bear grease all over it and bake it for an hour in the oven.

I remember buying some sort of foam, applying it, and then putting the glove in the oven for an hour.
But nothing substitutes for getting outside and putting it to use.

Vaseline and knead it for 10-15 mins at a time. Let it sit and start over. Do it while watching TV. Bend it all sorts of ways... It will soften up.

He's 3...if he can't catch yet it probably has more to do with his age than his glove.

Have broken in multiple gloves this way, including for a college all American. Totally dunk glove underwater. Pat dry, then pound pocket with butt of bat. Apply glovoleum, then insert 2 baseballs to shaped as desired, wrap in towel with belt until dry. Good luck.
