I know I said in a previous post that I didn't care about phones, but I have to say this is true. If my S7 Active was an iPhone, it would have had about 5 shattered screens right now. And I never bothered with a case.

ETA: The only problem so far is that the charging port gets loose and sometimes I'll think it's plugged in but it's not charging.

I have experienced this a couple times and getting a new charger always seems to solve it. Not sure if the cable is the issue or the phone screws up the cable.

Now I have a charge port issue. I have to jiggle it right and let it rest steadily to charge.

This happened to my Pixel 2. It wouldn't hold the plug in if i picked up the phone, it would just fall out.

So I bought a case with a built-in battery. Voila! Battery is forced to stay plugged in since plug is built into the case, and there is a new charging port on the case.

Probably lent/dust in the port. One of screen repair places cleaned mine out for free. Took about 30 seconds

Google Pixel 2 XL.....2 years old and hate it from the very beginning (gift from ex-girlfriend)

It doesn't work well with other applications. Like I have difficulty connecting to my car which makes it deal-breaking.

I loved mine. I reluctantly upgraded to the s20 and love it. The battery lasts a lot longer and the camera is a lot better.

iPhone X - it’s two years old - it was buy one get one free deals

I gave the 6 to my oldest - but I’m going to upgrade it soon since she’ll be going to college in the fall

I had the iPhone 3 fir 7/8 years when I upgraded lol

I just want to dang thing to work - I don’t care what it looks like or how modern it is

Wireless charging FTW.

My new phone is a week old. My pixel 3xl crapped out after 2 1/2 years, so I moved on to an S21 ultra.

I have a regular 6. Going on 7 years. It's had a good run, but probably going to retire it soon.

iPhone 11 (about 17 months old) and love it. Previous iPhone 6s lasted about four years with the battery finally crapping out.

I think I have the same phone. I've had it since April 2015. I have to wrap the chord around it so the charger fits tightly into the port. It also deleted Pandora when I was running out of storage. I freed up enough space, but now it won't download Pandora. That is probably going to be the catalyst to get a new phone

My Iphone 6 still works great. I do have to set it down carefully when charging but other than that all good.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 or 5S.. I have had it for probably 11 years.. Still works but becomes a brick when I turn on Wi-Fi for about 1 minute. I was given a Galaxy J3.. I might see if I can use it with Verizon..

6s+, 2 years old and no plans to change. Only reason I even have this instead of my old 5s is that the 5s was a lemon out the box and eventually became nonfunctional.
