Our phones really are one of the dirtiest things we touch. Especially for people that work in healthcare and dealing with all kinds of infections. I clean mine once a day with special wipes made to safely clean/disinfect touch screen items. What about the rest of the OT?

I think you should do a weekly thread on preventing infections

More often than I wipe off other peoples' pubes from a public toilet seat.

Maybe if you weren't afraid of germs, you'd have a working immune system and wouldn't spend so much time in the hospital

I have never cleaned my phone. I don't wash my hands after I use a public bathroom either

Our hospital did random swabbing of different employee's cell phones. They cultured them on petri dishes.

The ones with the highest amount of germs....came from the doctors.

Being in health care I don't blame you.

As a microbiologist, I think we try to be too clean in our everyday lives. I only clean my phone when I get something sticky or unsanitary on it.
