Around $200 on some shite I found out she wanted from Massey’s.

I got a killer all-weather hiking jacket that retails around $500 from her so I am winning.

Already took care of my homework today as well.

This is VD #40 for us so I actually put some effort into it.

$250ish on dinner. $150 or so on flowers and other shite. I think it’s a stupid arse made up holiday but the SO loves it more than any other holiday so I just bite the bullet and let her have this one. Not a bad trade off for her not really caring about her bday or any other holiday.

About $500.00 diamond earrings, unbelievable rate of return. BTW, been amazingly happily married for 35 years. Yes, I’m old.

About $35. Flowers, card, candy. Its our 33 VD together so its not a big deal. We agreed a week ago that were weren't doing anything but I am wicked smart and know better...

I have been on a 8/16 fast for almost 18 months so I haven't eaten past 2 PM on a weekday but a handful of times in that period. My wife and daughter celebrated VD at Waffle House while I put a coat of paint on our RV roof LOL. We are some romantic devils! I suspect we'll do something this weekend.

We don't really do traditional Valentine's because it's such a racket.

He got me a card and some nice chocolates from a local chocolatier. I got him a $15 Amazon gift card for his next book he wants to read and went and picked up lunch from our favorite deli that is a little bit out of the way.

We do so many other things for each other throughout the year that it just kind of feels redundant.
