6-7 hours is usual. 8 hours is a very rare occurrence.

Either a lot of the people in this thread are not very active throughout their day, so they require less recovery time, or they are destroying their bodies by not getting enough sleep.
100% the case or like deaf said...many in here have terrible sleep hygiene and/or have sleep apnea.
seeing how many post in the bmi threads and post here...most have a combo of the two and are destroying their bodies.
I do wake up a couple times a night to pee as i drink tons of water.

I have a 2 year old so it really depends. Last night she randomly woke up at 2:30 am because she "lost" her blanket. She was holding it when I went in there. She went right back to sleep, but I stayed awake until 5am when I finally fell back asleep. I woke back up at 6am, so I probably got 5-6 hours of sleep last night. On an average night, I probably get 8-9 hours of shitty sleep

so do many of us, yet we still find time to stay in shape, spend time with kids and wife and do all kinds of other things. and still sleep 6 hours minimum per night.

So do I. Proud of you for wasting 6 hours/day.

5 hours normally. No way I'm sleeping 8 hours straight.

8 hours every night. 9:30pm to 5:30pm. I'm strict with it too.

Can’t help being efficient. Somehow my blood work comes back pristine annually. Except for the LDL… little fricker. No need to be upset with my lifestyle, baw.

4 hours every night is extreme and will eventually catch up to that person. On the other hand, more than 8 hours a night is extreme as well and will also lead to poor health conditions long term.
