How much should I expect to pay?

I need to have 3 pine trees cut down.
They are next to the road but no other immediate obstacles (no power lines). Trees will need to be cut in sections (not dropping whole tree due to house 30 feet away).
The trees are approx. 40 feet tall and have limited limbs because the trees are dead.
I don't need the trees hauled off but they will need to be moved to a burn pile on the property (about 50 yards away).
Richland parish if that matters (north central Louisiana).
I know the answer is likely tree fiddy but looking for a more accurate estimate.

people on here will call me crazy but why not call a tree service/arborist in your area to come out and give you an estimate?

What's the price of a 16 foot ladder and a 24 inch chainsaw? Also be sure to record it and post the video.

100% shop around. Tree guys like to throw out random prices just to see if you'll bite.
I had estimates from $3,000 all the way up to $14,000 to have a huge, dead oak tree removed that was close to the house.

Probably looking 4-5k….depending if a bucket can be used

No more than $2500 in my opinion. In ascension parish I had two similar sized trees priced at $2k. One close to house, one close to power lines. I’ve had others quote double that. Definitely get multiple quotes

2500 to 3k just shop around and get a few prices.
I would also tell them any time before new year as things slow down and prices get better.

Without haul off is a little cheaper. Like $200 per tree. Which is why I believe yours should be around $2500. My quote was a month ago so should be apples to apples enough.

I’d assume around $800-$1000 a tree

Are they within city servitude? If so, call the city to remove. Just had that happen in our neighborhood. One neighbor called the city to remove dead pine trees from adjacent neighbor’s property & the city came out to handle it.

$1k for equipment to rent
$1k for labor for the day
100% markup for profit.
You're probably looking at around $4k I am guessing.
I am not in this business so take it for what it's worth.

I second this if they're really close to the road. Double check that they're not in a potential easement.
