Started at 16/hr in November 2015. Brought in 72/hr last year.

But I'm in sales so it's all from commission.

How can you know what you make per year if it depends on how much commission you make?

Forreal was thinking the same thing. The OT ballers are ballin. I only make around $40K personally but at 25 and only having to work 4 days a week and having great benefits, I feel pretty happy with it.

I know how much I made last year, so I divided it by how many hours I worked.

Make about $42 more per hour than my first permanent full-time job. It's been a wild rise thus far.

In a similar field. I didn't make much in my first IT job out of college in 2001. I doubled my income in the first 4 or 5 years though

I remember one of my professors mentioning the magical mark of 3 to 5 years when the money becomes really good. He wasn't lying.

I'm sure the percentage of college graduates on this board is much higher than the general public being a LSU/SEC message board. I'm sure a number of people lie about their income and wealth also

If you now make $28/hr, you're right on pace. If you're making less than that, you're ahead. More, you are correct.

Exactly, I make almost double what I made when I first started 5 years ago. I don't make what you make yet, but I will get there. The math seems the same, 22-23 ish more an hour in 5 years.
