I've soent $800 on my dog once and $450 on my cat. I'd do everything I could for my animals, at least for emergency situations. They are part of my family.

When they are old, it will of course be different. But for now, there aren't any natural causes that would kill them, so I will take care of them.

Then why would you save it for $10,000?

I edited my previous post btw. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything.

If it's a dog I've had for 5 years that has been loyal and been there for me in tough times, I feel like it's the least i can do. If the dog had cancer and it needed surgery and treatment, then I would pay for it if the outlook was very positive and the dog would be able to have a good quality of life.

Just spent $4000 on surgery for broken leg for my dog.... Never thought I would spend that but when the situation arises, what can you do?

So far, I'm $742 in (ER fee, prescriptions, one stay last night all factored in)... what's your limit?

More than $742 fricking dollars. How much do people spend to repair a 10yo piece of shite truck?

Of course I will probably never need it again, but how do I go about getting pet insurance? Isn't it $10/month or so?

I was wishing I had it when on the way to the vet for the 5th time in two days.

I'm thinking $1000 will be my limit, but I shouldn't have to pay anything more after I pick her up tomorrow. Then again, I'm this far in... what's another few hundred?

Yeah, when there is something that can be done to fix an otherwise health dog and the other option is to put it down, I'm going to do everything in my power to help my dog

for a fricking cat? $0. People are always trying to give kittens away, which is the only time their even worth a frick because they're cute

An adult cat? Why? Are you going to try to tell us y'all have a great relationship and your cat worships you? frick cats

Can't say about otis. But not $700 for sure

If you opened your heart to a cat, it would love you.

That goes for other animals, and people too sweetie.

I'll pay for that big toe on the left foot to get a look from a medical professional.
