I can't find legitimate info anywhere but I'm definitely interested. Surely it's more than normal plasma, right? I'm hearing it's up to $800 a month but I'm skeptical of that considering the person who told me. Anyone have any real info?

They tested me for antibodies when I donated blood, said I would be asked to donate plasma if I had them
It would have been a donation just like blood

if they are donating it they aren't getting anything. that's the definition of donating.

They had college kids who got kicked out of school for giving each other Covid to sell their plasma.

Some plasma places pay for donations, others don't. From what I've read, you can donate up to 2x a week. Octapharma website says they're paying $50 extra per donation thru end of the month if you can show proof of positive covid test and recovered.

Thanks. Looks like it may not be $800 but it can still add up quickly.

Idk what the regular payment amount is, but if you donate the max 8 times a month then $800 doesn't sound unreasonable if they're paying $50 extra each time with proof you tested positive and recovered....you'd be halfway there just on the covid bonus part.

Some places about $200 a pop if you have antibodies. You can donate plasma twice a week.

Non covid plasma at Biolife you can make $600 in 4 weeks but that's donating twice a week

Pumping the blood back in isn't bad. I think he is talking about when they pump the saline back in at the end to give you fluids. They infuse it fast af and it is a strange, cold, tingling sensation

In San Antonio it's $700 per appointment according to my BIL whose high up in the City's Covid Task force, I assume there has to be some government money involved somehow. He has some funding stories that will make your head spin, never let a disaster go to waste right?

Gave plasma at church one time. When they were pumping clear fluid back in, a little kid came by and asked what was happening.

I told him they had taken all of my blood and were now taking the water. That kid will probably NEVER give blood.

BTW, I did tell him the truth later, but that look on his face was priceless.

Nope but did take the antibody test this morning after being urged to by my cardiologist. If it comes back positive, I’ll definitely look into the plasma thing. Why not?
