What if you are a prn. Hourly worker and I usually worked 28-32 hours per week, but now I am only working 12 hours a week.

Depends how much you make working those 12 hours

Where you are disqualified from state i have been wondering if federal will still pay the $600.
I just read on the La Unemployment website that you are only eligible for the $600 fed money if you are awarded even $1 in state money.
It sucks for those of us that took a cut in pay but not enough to qualify for state money.

I'm screwed because I am receiving SS benefits & La.is one of only 4 states that allows the state to reduce its State unemployment benefits by a percentage of the SS benefits, which in most cases reduces the State benefits to zero. According to what I am reading here, no State benefits eligibility means no entitlement to the Fed. unemployment benefits.

For some reason I thought that was repealed in all states? You may want to apply anyway just to see what happens.

Unemployment doesn’t make up for lost wages if you are still working. You have to be unemployed

I have individual insurance not from my job. $350/month that I now can’t pay.

I was told it does, at least this time.

Making more than I’d make actually working.

Handouts huh? I have never filed for unemployment in my life, and I’m 41. I was REMOVED from my job on March 17th. The same job that I have held for over 6 years now. I have also been in that line of work for 16 years and do pretty well. I will take the “handout” until they allow me to go back to work. I guess everyone here has tons of money in the bank or can just go out and find a job right now??
