You're missing the point. Taking a car back because someone missed the payments isn't the unethical part.
It's the targeting of individuals specifically for the purpose of having them default on the loan so you can repossess the vehicle and take advantage of the next poor sap that comes along. It's a sleezy business plan all around.

So now we should tell people what they can and can't afford? Who made the customer go to the high end car business and not to the KIA dealership?

It has to suck to be in a business where you have to be nice all the time... I can imagine the conversations about customers as soon as they walk out

What high end dealership?
I'm talking about the used car equivalent of a section 8 slum lord who "sells" shitty cars with a ridiculously high interest rate knowing he can repossess the vehicle every 6 months and pull the same shite on the next desperate person to walk into his door.

If it were not for section 8 "slum lords" that are willing to deal with the lowest echelons of society, those people would be homeless.

You are full of fricking shite if you think a used car salesman pulls down this kind of money.
That is minimum $500 a day, 6 days a week. Very realistic with the markup on used cars.

They get paid in pain pills

Or they would just live in traditional government housing.
You are acting like these people are trying to help the lowest section of our society when really they are exploiting the weakest people for profit.

Again, no one is making them go there to buy the car. They could go buy one in a private sale but almost all the time they can't save up the cash or get a loan from a traditional bank because of their credit. So their option is public transportation (many places not an option) or to walk/ bike to work. Many men that use those places work in some type of construction where they have to be able to drive to the job site. So the options are either don't work, or go to a crappy auto place to over pay for a car to get to work.
These people are not smart that is why they use them. Its really not that hard to save up $1000 to buy a car to last 1 year, but many people can't do that.

I get that, and nobody is making crackheads purchase crack. Is dealing crack an honorable profession?

Just got around to thinking about a couple of things:
What is required in Louisiana to purchase used cars at auction? State license? Just register with the auction?
What does it take to get a dealer tag so that you don't have to pay taxes on cars that you plan to flip? (Is that the way it works?)
So where is the big profit built into the financing? Just fees tacked on? TIA.
