I’m sure y’all have seen the dumbass commercial about filling pot holes that they have put out. I’m betting they have only fixed the 1 they use in the commercial and that’s it. What do y’all think?

Not sure, but I was really hoping someone would buy a beater car, buy some dominos, and video driving around lakeview unitl the car fell apart or .5 miles, whatever comes first

Edit: I'll put up $20 to start a beater car fund to do this, Im sure we can find one for cheap and I know where the monster swells (~3ft pot holes) are at

Man, yeah I was wondering this the other day when I saw that commercial. It seems like that wouldn't go over well with local politicians. They can't be having dominos come in and fixing shite they are responsible for..

Well they could, but yall know what I am saying. I give it to dominos, it's an innovative marketing idea, but it seems like there would be a lot of red tape involved.. But then again, I guess they can just show up on location and it doesn't take long to fill a pothole.

And whenever they do it, people will take picture, post in on Instagram and FB and that's even more advertisement for them.. So I am interested to see how this works.

I think the deal is that dominos will put a sticker on the side of a city truck and pay the city the cost of repair.

Would not be allowed by cities IMO. Lots of liability involved.

Now if dominos offered some funds to fix potholes then it could be a possibility

Do you actually believe Dominos is supplying the equipment and labor as well as insurance and liability to go around filling pot holes?

I assume you still believe you’ll get you pizza in 30 minutes or less or it’s free.

After the politicians take their cut we'll have about $350 left over. My guess is that is about a 1/4 of a hole

The amount of money that any business could spend on this kind of thing would be miniscule compared to what it would take to have any effect.

You think union leaders and city governments would let a bunch of pizza boys repair roadways?

Think man.

With that massive $5,000 grant they gave NOLA, I assumed all of the potholes in the city were filled.
