My wife takes it for type 2 diabetes. I take Mounjaro for the same thing. No shame in it.

That was at a medical facility and I also had to have an exam when I got life insurance and it was measured to get me super preferred rates v. obese rates. I got to 170 once when I was in med school and looked and felt like shite. Without adding back muscle, I'd probably have to get back to 170 now to get back below 15%. Can't believe how much I've lost in the past four years, but it's coming back. Thank God for muscle memory.

seems like quite a claim for a 46 year old
True. That was from about age 24-36. Those numbers would definitely be different now.

Wow. Hope it works for them and no serious long term effects!

Im assuming diabetes patients, and now the trustworthy medical folks we have say its safe for everyone to use?
Interesting.
yea all the real world data and the 10+ year long studies show it is safe and very effective not just for obesity but overall health, especially heart health
the dual hormone (mounjaro- tirzepatide GLP/GIP) and tri hormone (retatrutide- GIP, GLP-1 and GCG) are even better on all metrics and have less side effects.
ftr all of these hormones are already in the body, just for many the levels are very low. Its like testosterone replacement therapy if you have low testosterone. In the obese they are usually very low.
