re: How many people that you know have died from covid? Am I above the average or is 3 normal?

I know more that have died from suicide during Covid than have died from Covid.

He got sick on Dec 9. He would have been vaccinated the next week. He was a great guy. It’s a shame.

Actually I know personally 5 guys.
All are above 65. Sad.

One was a lady that was 59.

He didn’t get it from a pt either. It was a coworker. He was the only one who got severely ill though. Seems like a crap shoot. He was 52 and in good shape. No tobacco or ETOH.

Two childhood friends, one being treated for cancer and the other recovering from bypass surgery. Both caught it in the hospital. Have also done the successions for three covid victims; a friend's MIL died from it as well as our church's organist. Have known several who had it and survived.. Some no more than a head cold, others it was an ordeal with a long recovery.

3 people who have gotten covid. None of which died.

And I live in a place that has some of the highest covid cases per capita in the United States

I only know a few people from work that have had it. All enjoyed a paid 2 week vacation from the sniffles. Im trying to catch it.

Three is not normal. That would mean that there would be a billion people dead, just by asking every US citizen.
