Crown sucks, they just did a good job of marketing their product to make it seem like some high class whiskey and people fall for it and think they are the shite of they drink it.

Yup. Just like JD did a good job marketing themselves as THE whiskey. They made it seem like JD was the only whiskey back in the late 1800's.

My dad drinks Crown and 7 during LSU games and offers me some. So I drink it. And because I like the taste. Sue me.

I used to drink crown in college. Now I just single malt scotch (minimum 15 year). Glenfiddich 15 year in a deep south 2L aging barrel for a couple months is perfect.

Have you had 21 year Glenfiddich? I think it's the 21...whichever is aged in rum casks.

Also to people that really like crown you can get forty creek that is cheaper or rich & rare reserve for 1/3 the price and it taste identical.

Yeah, it's what I tried to turn people to. Hell, even Canadian Club is rated higher than Crown. Canadian Club has a pretty good story. It's what Al Capone made all his money off of...and it has the Royal Warrant of 3 Queens and 2 Kings(may have the numbers backwards but it's a total of 5).
