Is this a sensitive topic? No, I have no problem with a fleur de lis. I'm also of that French heritage. Just checking. It's OK.

People see things the way they choose to see it. The topic of trucks just got me to thinking of how many of these I see on the backs of vehicles here, and most trucks in particular. I thought that perhaps since I see so many, maybe we could discuss our French heritage or maybe how people identify with these fleur de lis stickers. Clearly it means something special, or else why would you ever put it on the back of your vehicle. People usually do those things because it has special meaning, or one would think it does, because why would you do that in such a prominent area on your vehicle if it meant nothing to you?
