More fiscally responsible than getting a real one.

I did that but then my ex pretended to get a divorce to bang the neighbor.

Win some, lose some.

Now this is a new one. Might have to hop on this and stick it to Comcast

Just call and threaten to cancel. They'll lower it.

What kind of person still buys cable?

Over 100 a month for channels you don’t watch at times you can’t watch them, and then they are half commercials?

If it were up to me I'd cut the cord but my wife doesn't want to get rid of cable.

Get YouTube TV. 40/month and all the same channels. Free 30 day trial and no contract.

I don't understand why anyone would stick with cable.

Who still subscribes to cable in this day and age?

(I did do this with Columbia House, though, fwiw.)

My wife is a bit of a Luddite and it's easily worth $100 a month to me not to hear her complain. I've tried Sling TV when it first came out and Hulu's live service recently and she didn't care for either one.

Almost 200 million Americans live in homes with traditional cable.

It’s amazing how much we’re willing to pay to just keep women from bitching

You still need to pay the cable company for internet in many places and when you add up to streaming services with your internet bill it’s more expensive than cable plus internet.

just tell them you lost your job. They'll cut it. I even hear there is this paid automated service that uses an algorithm of robot answers to call your company and get it reduced.
