I like to call these people "stupid".
ETA: It's going to be 100 this Sunday. The only thing that I like about the Summer is getting to use the pool.

If the debate is between Minnesota winter or a Baton Rouge summer I take BR summer everyday of the week. Hot and humid weather does not bother me in general

How? How do you live?
No one has it here. We average only 17 days a year above 70 degrees though. Rarely gets above 80

Same. Ecologically everything is BOOMING. Can do whatever you want outside. Visit all the water holes. Love it

I guess I'm just used to it.
It really hits you when you go on vacation somewhere and when you come back you feel the humidity getting off the plane.

still unlikely. 90F at 95% would be an index of 127F. That's rare heat wave stuff that only happens in unusual conditions in the US.

It bothers me but certainly not as much as 7 months of cold weather. Can you imagine it being late April and still in the 20s with snow on the ground? Screw that.

What really suckss in no humidity
I never realized how much I loved humidity until I spent 4 days in Denver/Boulder.
Once I landed back in New Orleans and breathed in that humid air, I was in heaven. Coated the sinuses

That is most of the reason why I like it so much. In winter, everything is dead and quiet. I hate it.

That's fairly rare anywhere.

where is it 20s in late April anywhere?
Snow wise there are places around here that still have it. I work with some people from Martin City and they still have some in their yard that hasn’t melted.
It depends on which face of the mountain the area is... where I work there is a 110 mile loop around a reservoir and about 35 miles down the West Bank the road is closed due to snow that hasn’t melted off yet. Of course, this particular road isn’t plowed bc it’s USFS.
Glacier Park is still covered in areas. And the Bob Marshall is still at ~125%.

frick this time of year. This shite is fricking miserable.

I hate hot an humid. I would take a freezing cold day over hot and humid any day. You can keep putting layers on and get pretty toasty on a cold day. You can be buck-arse naked and still hotter than hell on a hot, humid day. Plus there are the skeeters and horse flies in the evenings.
The perfect day is 65-70 with a slight breeze and 25% humidity.

It definitely can be, but few places average temps in the 20's in late April.
March and April are my least favorite months. Breakup.

No kidding
I must be adopted from the North
Preferring over 90 to anything under 60? The frick?
Give me 55 and I'll put on a sweater and stay outside all day
