2 are through and 3 more coming up. I’ll have $2-300k invested in education before college.

Have 2 at a small private school in mobile.
I think it’s around 1200 total/month.
More than my mortgage but to be honest, the public schools in mobile are shite so I don’t feel bad about it.

NEVER put your kids in a government school. And yes even in Texas. There are no good government schools. Even the best, like Ben Franklin in Nola, put out dis functional young commies. Private / parochial all the way.

Have a 3yr old in daycare, $160 a week.
Have one in K-4, a little over $160 a month. I teach/coach at his school so he goes for half off tuition and the 3 year old will go for free once he goes here.

Move to Texas. Never paid a dime for private school. Your own fault for choosing to live in a shithole.

I put or am putting 7 through. 4 still in. At the peak it was running around $45k per year but to me it was worth it.
Yes it was one less vacation and driving a little older truck but I wanted them to be in an environment I wasn’t able to be in.
So far the theee graduates are:
Management at an ESOP outdoors store
Aero engineer for Boeing
Spec ops air crew member
I would say the investment is paying off.
Edit:
We used the Creightom method for NFP. It worked very well until later we decided to just open up totally to what He wanted. The last 4 are 5.5 years apart. The first three span 11 years. Funny how when you dig deep into the faith priorities can change.
